High quality cabling? Does it help any?

I've read articles about using MONSTER cables for things such as your DVD player and even your PS2/ X-box. That said, would a high quality DVI cable provide better proformance with the LCD Screen that I plan on purchasing instead of, say, the cable that it initially comes with?
