Hello, Does anyone know where you can download good quality freeware
aircraft models for FS9 (FS2004)? The freeware aircraft I have downloaded
do not include their own virtual cockpits etc. Any advice here would be
greatly appreciated.

I have just installed the PSS A340 professional, it has such beautiful
detail in everything. From what I see it seems to work quite independently
from the basic flight simulator systems. It looks like it's going to take
me a few weeks study to begin to understand how to fly this aircraft (I
guess that is why they call it professional), but it looks fantastic!

Yes, there are a few good quality freeware aircraft and a good clue to
finding them is to visit Avsim.com -> AVSIM Library ->Hot Downloads for Past
365 Days.

I know your subject line says "freeware" but here is my advice: I have had
to kiss so many frogs to find a prince or two that I decided it was not
worth my time to download, install, test, tweak, and remove anymore
freeware. It's more cost effective for me to drop $30 every now on a great
payware product.

I hear it's kinda nice to kiss those Texas frogs.....they have those REALLY
BIG TONGUES. I guess that could be somewhat tiring : ) So tell me, did you
find your prince or two and if so, what happened?

I knew it! I knew it! I knew there was something that gave that 'je ne
sais quois' zest to your Texas chili...We finally have the secret:

A dash of frog spit and some HUGE frog tongues...mmmmmmmm......Now we know
it isn't just the full-bodied armadillos found on the side of the road that
does it! I'm spinning up my 737 just to take a jaunt down there for a
taste. Put the pot on, Big D : )
