[SOLVED] High ram use on steam

Hi

My steam is using 500-700mb of ram when on the backround, im not playing any games or downloading anything. But im just thinking is it normal that steam uses over 500mb ram while not actually using it.

pc specs if it helps

16gb gskill trident z 3200mhz
ryzen 5 2600
msi 1060 6gb
msi b450 gaming plus mobo
