High speed data transferring cable!

Hey guys! So, let me explain my dilemma first. I am (trying to be) a YouTuber (don't worry, I'm not asking for views, like, subs, etc) that does gaming vids, and usually I just pop the video into Windows Movie Maker and make simple trims and jump-cuts, then I let it convert the file and I upload. But sometimes I need to do more advanced things to the video, like cropping, Ken Burns, facecam, that sort of thing. But since I don't have a good Windows editor, I have to borrow a Mac. I can get my hands on this Mac laptop very easily, but it's a pain having to put the videos on a USB and keep transferring them back and forth. So is there some high speed USB cable that I could leave connected between my PC desktop and the Mac laptop that would enable me to simply click and drag the files and then boom! They are there on the Mac?

That's not an option for me. My router is three rooms across my house.

WiFi then? Or a shared NAS box of some sort. Some sort of network connection...
Bottom line...you can't USB between 2 PC's.

A good high-speed USB flash disk will be faster for you than WiFi. And much easier for you to configure on both ends.

How can I tell if it's a high speed one?

It should be on the packaging of the drive. Look for something like 5MBytes/sec write speed. You can also re-purpose fast (Class 10) SD or microSD card with appropriate card reader.
