Cool off the battery. I've seen ppl use the fan pads, kitchen aluminum defroster boards, have a small portable fan blow under it, everything and anything to help bring the heat down.
The simplest way is to use a cooling pad. The other way is to lower the settings for the game. 60 is generally ok when gaming which tells me that either the cpu or gpu are throttling. If that is the case you can't really do much except lower the settings and keep the laptop cool.
