Question High temperature on Speccy and HWMonitor but BIOS okay

Speccy and HWMonitor is showing my motherboard temperature at 117 celsius but in the bios says 31 celsius. I updated my bios and still the same.

I googled it and found some old threads saying it’s probably a software issue, but no direct solution. Any suggestions?

Is that a software? I don’t have access to the computer at the moment. Is that software supposed to be accurate?

Yes it's good software. But the temp reading you have is most likely an error.

Ok I’m more skeptical now lol.
Do you mean hardware error or software error?

Software not reading it correctly since BIOS is the best way to check.

It sort of surprises me because Speccy and HWMonitor comes up the best temperature monitoring softwares.
