Okay, so I’ve run into this weird thing in my system recently and I really need help solving it. Here are my specs before moving forward.

Intel i7-8700k @ 4.6ghz
RTX 2080
16 GB of ram @ 3000mhz
1TB external USB
120 GB boot drive
1TB NVME SSD

Now then, I’ve had this issue for the past week or so I would say. I updated windows almost 2 weeks ago and to my knowledge this is when it started. When I am playing a game, and I go to launch my browser, it is incredibly slow to load the webpage and my C: Drive shoots up to 100 percent utilization in task manager. See link below.

Even though I am playing a game on my TB SSD or even my TB hard drive. But when I am not in game, it is fine and normal and is as fast as it usually is. Before anyone asks, yes I have ran a chkdsk in command prompt and nothing was found. I have more than enough ram. And I’m not playing games on my C: Drive because it is boot only. So does anyone have any idea what it could be? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated because I’m losing my mind trying to figure this out. Being able to alt tab out of a game and QUICKLY google something is a luxury, but it is a luxury I paid for building this computer and not having that luxury is incredibly frustrating right now.
