Higher CPU Temp

Temp was 30°C(idle) and 60°C(game) then I replaced old thermal paste with Thermaltake TG-4 and PEA method. Now temp is 35°C(idle) and 65°C(game). I didn't expect increase of temp. What is problem?

Thermal paste needs to set which may take around more than 24-48 hours depending on the paste. Don't worry.

I dont think the setting of thermal paste is going to drop idle temp by 5 degrees overnight. I think you either used too much or too little thermal paste, didn't apply it correctly, or your cooler wasn't reinstalled properly.

Try reinstalling the cooler using the credit card method with the thermal paste.

Difference between thermal pastes and application methods is a few degrees. My CPU Heatsink have rough surfaces without fine tile but I don't understand that old thermal paste cool better.
