higher downloading rates

hi i have a 1mbps connection but when downloading anything from play store via wifi or downloading youtube videos with idm i get upto 600kbps to 1megabytes and regular sites gives me around 100 kbps rate and aslo some torrents with higher seeds i get 200 kbps to 1mbps please can anyone explain me why is this hapenning

Well 1) a 1mbps connection is SLOW. I hope you mean 1MBps which is 1 Mega Bytes Per Second. If the B is lower case it means Bits.

what internet connection do you have? Have to understand that just having a fast connection isn't everything. A lot of times web servers will limit how fast someone can download so their servers don't get bogged down. Torrents are different. Its depends on how fast everyone else is uploading and how fast you are uploading. If you limit the upload speed on the torrent it limits your download speed of the torrent. Either way everything varys. Just because you have a connection that is a certain speed doesn't mean you get it everywhere.


Also future reference don't talk about any kind of torrenting or pirating on here. Its frowned upon and you won't get any help. Just a warning.

Doesnt matter. Im not bashing on you for any reason just saying somepeople on here look at something that could be considered pirarcy and wont touch the thread. Just an FYI
