[SOLVED] Higher Ping for one device on the same network ?

Hello,

I have 4 devices connected to the same full fiber network (FTTH). The ping on 3 devices is between 16 and 17ms, but 1 device (newer device) pings at 27\30ms.

I tried to disable firewall but the ping always remains higher than the other 3 devices, what could it be?

Is it possible that the newer device is using an IPv6 path rather than an IPv4?

Hi there, I've fixed the issue by replacing the fiber optic cable (the yellow one) and now the ping is 18ms.

I tried to update the software, to set the firewall, I tried both with wireless and with ethernet cable. In the end it was resolved, 16/17 ms for the first 3 devices and 18ms for the last one. Do you have any tips to lower the ping even further, or does it depend on the line and I can't do anything more?

I'm testing it by IPV4 and just wireless connection instead of ethernet cable.
