higher ping on pc than mine old laptop

my gaming pc has higher pc than my 3 years old budget laptop.
on the same distance same cable.
on pc i got ~26 ping
and on my laptop ~16 ping
and thats not in the peak hours.

i don't think it is something to do with settings maybe it is the killer e2400?
i really don't know, if anyone has a clue or a fix pls let me know

i5 6500
gtx 1060
msi b150 m3

50% of cabled network issues is the cable - also check you're using a CAT5, CAT5E or CAT6 cable. Try swapping the cable or inspecting it and let us know. ALSO you can go to CTRL+ALT+Delete, pull up resource monitor and inspect any possible packet loss in the network settings.

What are you pinging? Make sure you are pinging an IP and not a FQDN.

it is the same cable for both laptop and pc

i have used speedtest.net, will try with cmd
