[SOLVED] Higher temprature after thermal paste update

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with my gigabyte rtx 2060 oc, my card was working over 76C then I decided to reapply the thermal paste. I used zalman stg2, then my gpu is working higher temprature like 79C-80C.

I think the memories is working too hot because, in gpu-z which is using gpu memory less and using gpu 100%, my card's max temp is 62C. But in games, the card is 79-80C

Do you have any idea?

I used zalman's stg2, i know it as a good thermal past.

I am also worry about the new driver(441.20)

Make sure you didn't apply to much, which actually insulates the core, preventing the heat from getting away as it should. The Gigabyte is a very cool card, but a lot of it does depend on the temperatures inside the case.
