can someone tell me the highest stable overclock they have heard of with the amd 945? (water cooled or not heat is not an issue!) thank you

ya 3.75 is what they said due to heat but im running 3.6 @38c so... also an article gave me pointers on how to get it up to 3.8 no screenshots said was unstable due to heat... i think my noob butt can beat that or fry a new cpu )

Some CPUs OC really good, some OC like sht (even of the same model). Its the luck of the draw.

Try adding some more voltage, make sure it isn't your ram, and watch those temps!

You should be able to get close to 4ghz, or at least 3.8.
