Highest Overclock for the GTX 960

Hey guys, I have an EVGA GTX 960 SSC GPU and I want to Overclock it. I don't know much about overclocking and want to know what a good Clock would be for it. I have an Intel core i7-4790K CPU, 20GBs of DDR3 1333 Ram, a Gigabyte Z97x Gaming-5 Mobo, and a Corsair 850W CX850M power supply. Can anyone help me find a good clock speed for my card?

whats high? nvidia has refined 28nm, it is gonna clock higher than any gpu you've owned that is for certain. probably hit 1300 to 1400MHz with GPU boosts.

Get MSI afterburner. Raise ur core clock by 100 mhz, stress test, if stable go another 100, if not back down 50. Monitor your temps. After you find stable core switch to memory. You can also increase voltage to stabilize your overclock.

Scratch that, that is Heaven benchmark saying that, not very reliable...

ahhh I see. You achieved that by lowering the memory clock?

Yes, i had the memory clock just a bit because my drivers were crashing, and i also turned down the core voltage all the way down in msi afterburner

what........ Have you stress tested it yet? Dont think it will be stable with no power....

Ive stressed tested it over 20 times now, and it is stable, i just got done stressing it for over 12 hours and it is still stable

ive turned it down 100mhz because i was doing some fine tuning and this seems alot better and i am at 2103mhz
