Highpoint RocketRaid 2300 or 2310

I'm looking at these 2 raid controllers and am wondering if there is any benefit from using the 2310 over 2300.

Both are SATAII 4 channel controllers with almost the exactly the same features.
difference being one is PCI-E1 and the other is PCI-E4

Would there be any noticeable difference in the 2 controllers for speed?

note:
I'm sticking with Highpoint because i already have an 8 channel controller from them(2320) and staying with the same manufacturer has advantages when in the future i can link the controllers together

seems like the only difference is PCI 1x vs 4x.
