when playing devilmaycry 4 = 70-72C, fanspeed 59-62%

i just want to know if these temps/fanspeed are fine

My old 4850 went up to 95C. I blew out some dust and temps lowered a few degrees but it was still hot. Idle was around 60C, tho. It was normal for me, but the single slot cooler is inefficient.

Your temps are fine.
GPUs are designed to take a lot of heat, yours specifying a maximum temp of 105c.
Before I replaced my stock coolers, my pair of 4850s would idle around 65c and routinely hit 95c+ with no issues.

If you really want to lower the temps a little, upgrade your cases cooling and/or your GPUs cooler.
If you do not want to spend any $ upgrading, do not worry to much about it.
Your GPU temps are still well within specs.

Yeah it depends on which HIS cooler you have. It its the ICEQ cooler then they seem a little high but still fine. But if you have their smaller cooler they are fine. ATI cards have always run really hot. Start worrying when they hit 90C
