Anyone know when they will be getting more in? I've been waiting a few days to order the rest of my parts, hoping they will get more in, but they haven't yet. Or does anyone know another good place I can get my hands on one? I'm so anxious to get my gaming rig set up! :) Thanks! :)

i don't think newegg will be getting anymore IceQs in, there is no estimated arrival time. www.ewiz.com has them but they are more expensive, ~$260.

try e-mailing new egg. They have been pretty promt with responding to inquiries I had. Also send monarch computer an email. I asked them about stocking them, perhaps they made a move. Zipzoomfly had the non ice q version listed but it is gone now, might want to send them an email too. Perhaps some other companies with good ratings like mwave, accupc and so forth? I had to look around to find that card myself. I had to go to the site and look through their cards to find it. It wasn't linked to the bizrate search. I believe HIS is a good company. If more people start requesting their products in the states perhaps they won't be so hard to find in the future.

There was a sweet deal on an oem hercules 9800 pro someone found but I think they are all gone now too.

I don't know about ewiz--check out their ratings on Tom's bizrate search before you order from them.

Did a google search for the card, and pcmicrostore.com came up as a store that has it in stock. Only 10 bucks more there, and they seem to have really good ratings at resellerratings.com, anyone have any good experience with them?

edit: laptops4me.com also has it, anyone know if they are any good?

Monarch can get it for you. They are a smaller company than new egg. They enjoy excellent ratings and offer very personal service. Good old Southern hospitality, based in Georgia I think:

I have found and can supply for you the HIS Excalibur Ice Q Platinum 9800 Pro. I am still here for the questions if you have any.

Thanks again.

As far as the company ratings. I just looked for the smiley green faces on the Tom's bizrate search. New egg has been great as I have been accumulating my system. However I fully intended to order from some smaller companies, it just worked out I ordered from new egg:

-first order new egg was one of the few/only that had the HIS excalibur ice q platinum.

-second order- new egg had a good price plus offered the wd rebate on a 74 gb raptor

-third order- new egg offered the athlon 64 3200+ clawhammer core with the free far cry game combo offer.

I intended to give zipzoomfly and also maybe monarch some business but it just worked out that way...
mvave, accupc etc... also have good ratings. Craig uses mwave and says they do right by him. Their storefront isn't the most user friendly in my opinion but they seem to have great ratings. Email em and ask em if they can get the card for you as I did monarch. If you want to order from monarch it will probably be a special order at this time. If enough people show intereste perhaps they'll stock it as a regular item.

newegg has them again. they got a new shipment in yesterday or the day before. you may want to wait for the x800 pro to come out from them it uses a more efficient fan and the so on and the so forth.
