Hitachi CML174 Does 16.7 Million Colors

Seen a few posts over the 260k colors for the Hitachi CML174 this is correct but it uses something called FRC to give 16.7 million colors on screen, look here at the Hitachi Spec http://shop.monitorsdirect.com/product.asp?sku=CML174B#reviews

Well im on the CML174 right now and i have to say what a bright and colorful screen, page 18 of the manual States 16.7M Colors and looking at it i have to agree.

The colours on my hitachi blow my old CRT monitor away!!!!

it's just that it uses FRC circuitry, but so do a lot of flat panels.

Hilbert space is a big place.
