Hitachi Disk Device makes noise

I have a new HP desktop pc, when i put a disk in the hard drive (Hitachi HDS723020BLA642 SCSI Disk Device), it makes a strong noise. I noticed that it happens when the rotation frequency is very high... but im sure that this noise isn't normal! Any suggestion?

It is a 7200rpm drive so its going to make a bit noise. And since its a hitachi one its goin to make slighly more than WD/segate. If its very loud replace it with a 5400rpm WD drive

Ok... can i avoid this replacement? For example limiting in some way the speed? The reading process would be slower but i really hate that noise.

No your can under-run the stock rpm speed. sorry but you'll need to replace it if you dont want the noise.
