Hitman Absolution not working in Windows 8.1

hi guys i am unable to play hitman absolution in windows 8.1 . My system specs are -
8gb ram
2gb nvidia gtx 780
windows 8.1 pro
all drivers are also updated

I installed the Hitman Absolution (Blackbox) .And then it wasnt starting so. At that time my OS was Win 8 . So i downloaded some files and replaced them in the game folder and then, After it worked well . But when i upgraded to Wins 8.1 and launched the game
there was an error " The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application" So i ran it in compatibility with Wins 8 but then the Cmd like black colour box pops up and an error. What to do ????????

Follow the Steps
1) Open the following link :http://megagames.com/download/318889/0
2) Download the Fix
3) Extract it
4)Replace the files to the game folder
5) Start the game

i had the same problem ..but i was able to solve it ...what u have to do is to download a software named steam update it if required then change the HMA icon name to hitman.exe ....then run steam and then run the game ..it will run..

I also faced the same problem but after installing stream it worked for me , try installing stream if you don't have I think
it can solve your problem.
