hl2 messed up textures on certain computers

I got a set of 7 computers, all nice-ish, core 2 duo e7400, 4gb ram, and 500 gb wd blue drives. my little sis really likes older games like the hl2 series. I have a hl2 disk, i install it on my laptop and it looks great, but on all 7 of the desktops i get tonnes of texture errors, things are green, some look good, some have jagged edges that can stretch all the way across the map. Any ideas?

Verify that you have the latest video drivers installed and check that the game is set to play at your displays' native resolution.

just checked, im using 1440x900 (native) and im using the latest intel driver

What graphics settings is the game set (i.e., low, medium, high, etc)?

What version of Windows are you using? Is DirectX up to date?

Windows 7, Direct X 11 and everything max exept anti-aliasing. Ive tried a bunch of different settings. it seems to be a problem with the integrated graphics, i put a new psu and my old gtx 660ti and it ran perfectly, same with another old gt series card i found in a box.
