Well, after reading Tom's review, It sounds like an OK board, but just OK. Not very fast, due to the KT266 chipset. Nice feature set, especially if you're starting from scratch, 'cause you get LAN and sound onboard. If you have no special requirements for those 2 items, it's a cost-effective way to get them into your system. (I use the onboard sound on my Iwill KK266-R, and it's OK for my purposes.)

VIA have released the KT266A, which I understand is a direct replacement for the KT266 You might soon see Soyo and other mobo makers offering updated versions of boards based on the earlier chipset. Personally, I'd look at a board based on another chipset, like the SiS 735, or wait for some of the KT266A boards to prove themselves.
