Holding On With Crytek's 'The Climb'

If you're doing ANY climb, it takes a massive amount of guts to 'Jump' (It's called a Dyno for all the non-climbers) for a hold. People are going to crap themselves when they fall haha.

Completely agree.

One of my first VR experiences was in the Rift demo, where you're standing on top of a building ledge. I forced myself to gingerly step off the edge...and in doing so, actually, physically, stepped off the rubber mat under my feet. It was maybe a half-inch thick, but in the nanosecond before my foot found the floor, I *knew* I was going to die.

That was also the moment I knew VR was going to work.

And I'm terrified to try the Climb!
 
they need to have bonus content of fantasy realm climbs, like Mt. Doom or the Lonely Mountain from LOTR; or what about the Fabled Mountain climb from "The Citadel" ?
