I was wondering about what percent of people holo grind for their
experience? It annoying to see a cantina full of entertainers doing their
thing spouting out the same marco'd message asking for money. So I am no
longer tipping and healing these people.

I know what you mean. Healing for them, MAYBE, if I decide that I want the
medical XP, and there are no "real" people performing there who need it.
But no tips for zombies.

OK, that isn't strictly true. Yesterday I went into a cantina on Talus with
battle fatigue and mind wounds, and the only person around was a musician
performing AFK. Him I tipped, since he was providing a service in a place
that didn't get many customers.

its a catch 22, i hologround music and dance in coronet and the north dath
outpost because there was nowhere else to go really unless i wanted to spend
one or two months in some outskirts planet cantina slowly leveling. with
respect to real entertainers i didnt ask for the holo to say music and
wanted it done asap. now the problem is everyone else also knows the major
grind cantinas for the fastest heal so noone ever bothers with smaller city
cantinas looking for healing when they cant drop 400 bf in a few minutes in
a grind cantina. as for the otehr part i agree 100% its EXTREMELY annoying
that macros can talk at all for ANY reason, i refuse to tip an afktainer,
and begging for heals is rediculous when we all now other than a personal
tumbler holotainers are the easiest xp for holo medics to work on.

You probably will notice the AFK macro folks disappear a great deal in
the coming months. Once the Jedi Revamp takes place...patch 10. There
is no need for the holo grind anymore. I am pretty sure this will
break up their big parties in there 😉

Tue it will get rid of those who are holo grinding. But I mind Buff
constantly as an AFKer and view myself as providing a service for
those who may need buffs when I'm not able to play the game. Of
course, it is not out of pure benevolence that I do this. Typically I
am able earn a substantial amount. As a master dancer and musician,
I'm am not doing it to grind perse. Only to make a decent living as a
dancer/musican which I do.

On a secondary note, I do mind walking into a cantina say for example
(purely hypothetical of course) Coronet, 20 people are AFK and three
people are live. Do AFKing on a remote planet if you are going to do
this.
