i wonder why the last 3 tests wasnt ran (except for the adv. pixel shader b/c it's first edition...not second)...

<A HREF="http://gamershq.madonion.com/compare2k1.shtml?2649487" target="_new">P4 NW + DDR</A> = <font color=blue>Not Bad</font color=blue>

wouldnt that make the the overclock unsuccessful because even though you can get it to overclock that high....whats the point because its not stable enough to run certain tests.
btw...i already knew you can select what test to run...it just seems odd that he just decided to run all the test except for the last couple...if you werent going to run all the test, he could have just ran the first 4 tests because thats all you really need to calculate a 3dmark score...

<b><A HREF="http://gamershq.madonion.com/compare2k1.shtml?2649487" target="_new">P4 + DDR333</A>=<font color=blue>OK</font color=blue></b>

but its still...technically...an incomplete score....ah well...its still an extremely respestably overclock.

<b><A HREF="http://gamershq.madonion.com/compare2k1.shtml?2649487" target="_new">P4 + DDR333</A>=<font color=blue>OK</font color=blue></b>

Except that it's obviously not stable. Any overclock that isn't perfectly stable has to be thrown out completely, IMO.

If I read the results correctly, only the se tests are missing, wouldnt that lead you to believe that it is merely because this particular gentlemen does NOT have 3dmark2001 se, and is running the origional version?

It is 3DMark 2001 original, but not all of the tests he didn't run are SE tests.

As a side note, the latest 3.3ns R8500 overclock just as well as the monster GF3Ti200. You can get them to 320/320 without too much effort.

I pulled up a chair on first page with this <A HREF="http://gamershq.madonion.com/compare2k1.shtml?2947838" target="_new">sweet score.</A> Yep 340/804, I have completed some tests at 350/810 like <A HREF="http://gamershq.madonion.com/compare2k1.shtml?2947811" target="_new">this bench</A> showing off the highest fills on mad onion.

I scored this VT Ti4600 from Best buy for $179 I found thread on HardOCP about a guy who purchased one for same price and posted his receipt, I printed it and took it to my local store and they price matched it and gave me 3 rain checks as I walked out with 1 card.

Proving once again that <A HREF="http://www.zombo.com" target="_new">anything is possible</A>.

What OC'ing utility can any of you recommend for a GeForce 3 Ti200??? Xtasy 6564 Visiontek?

well thankfully AMD Man it's been a mild winter here in Wisconsin, so I haven't had to cuddle with my box too often. But it's a pretty black anodized aluminum, so I could do worse......

lucky, the best buy in altamonte Florida that he got his card at wouldn't even give me the price.
I didn't get that miffed because I was a day late and had not gotten in on the original deal, but when other people get in on it later on over the original purchasers that makes me angry.
Many people ordering over the internet and in store while the deal was still advertised got turned away, and you go later on when the deal is revoked and get 4 cards.....

Unlike you,I didnt slack that day.

If it makes you feel any better, I voided the warranty within an hour of opening the box.

well if you went into the store the day the price was posted is one story, if you got the receipt off the net the day after (what I did) then you did not get in on the original deal.

I found this great Radeon OCing utility that claims to be used by Ati themselves. Got it at:

<A HREF="http://atioc.0catch.com/winclk.zip" target="_new">http://atioc.0catch.com/winclk.zip</A>

Got my radeon 64vivo to 260/260 so far, but no artifact.

When I sit in front of mine, I get a nice breeze from the fans on top..... quite cold in the winter months...

I agree with you on that one. A crashing OC should be re-evaluated and stabelised.

That's a badass trick. I'm impressed. I like that pricematching idea.

BTW, none of your benchmarks work. Could you check the links or is it me?
