Holy Symbol

Whilst wandering around the Hammerite Church I noted reference to a Holy
Symbol and its importance in securing the Chalice inside the factory. I assume
that the Symbol is that rod with the glowing red tip that the Master Forger
wears around his waist. I boosted it and tried to carry it into the factory.
To my surprise, it vanished in the process. I assumed that another Holy Symbol
would turn up inside the factory but note that the entry in my goals list
clearly states that the Holy Symbol has to be the one taken from the Priest's
Chambers. This is disappointing. Has anyone else had the HS vanish when they
tried to take it across levels??

I noticed it seemed important but I couldn't take it as loot so I carried
it out to near the exit in case I needed it later. Didn't get it as a
goal yet.

Not only is that *not* the Holy Symbol, but nether is it particularly important.
(You'll see many more and similar later!)
The Symbol is in the High Priest's quarters.

In case you didn't figure it out - those are just carried items similar to
the hammers. They don't serve a purpose otherwise that I noticed.

The item you describe is the Shamans or priests "magic wand" and it is
useless to Garret.
