Home built PC not working

I've hade this issue about a week ago and I just changed the outlet it was plugged into. Now I changed all the outlets the surge protected the cord, everything, it won't turn on. I know the power supply works, I plugged it into another PC and it turned on.

If it worked before and now it wont work first thing to check is the psu.

Remove 24 pin connector from motherboard, take a paperclip and bend it to jumper from green wire in 24 pin cable to any black wire.
If PSU does not turn on, its a bad PSU.
If PSU does turn on the it is something else.

I know the power supply works, I just removed it from the not working PC and put it in another one.

First reset the power supply. Turn it off and unplug it for thirty seconds.

Plug it back on, and turn it on.

Do you have another PSU to switch out?

I assume that you already checked that the cables are tight?

No I am putting all my new parts into my old case to see if it is the cases power buttons.

Don't do that yet.

The LEDs on the motherboard would light up regardless of the case power switch.

Do you have access to a multimeter?

Is the CPU power cable connected? Is the 24-pin cabnle connected? Is the CPU installed correctly (no bent pns)?

Do you have a case speaker? Any beep codes?

It is a voltmeter with other features.

We found out it is the case,it is working now
