i have upgraded our server to 2k from nt. we still have many 98 and 95 workstations. i tried mapping the home directories of the students at the school using a logon script but i seem to remember something about 98 only being able to go 2 folders deep? heres what i want mapped for their home dir: \\notredame\users\students name, but nothing shows up mapped when they log on. could someone lend a little insight?

Are the logon scripts being run? if so, any errors/events giving info? did you try just mapping a drive for example in the logon script to see if its a mapping problem in general thats causing the problem?

Personally I'd use a GPO for folder redirection, but still a logon script to map any drives
