Hi guys.
I have recently moved house and trying to set up my home network so I can watch videos stored on my PC library onto my living room TV downstairs. I have got my PC and TV both connected to my network, and my TV is discoverable in my Devices and Printers.
How can I stream movies stored on my PC onto my living room TV? Is it just a matter of making my video folder shared on my local network? Would I need to set up a homegroup and set permissions to what folders I can access on it, or is there something much more simple that I'm missing out?
My TV is a Samsung UE32F5000 and has its own IP address automatically set. Currently I can go into the Media Center on the TV and watch movies from USB devices, but have not found anything for network.
Has anyone had this issue or can suggest some things to try?
Thanks.
