Hi,
I just bought a new house and can't figure out how to connect my modem into the hub in my master closet. There is a router with 4 LAN outs already connected which I assume correspond to the 4 Ethernet jacks throughout the house. There is already a cable connected to the in "Internet" spot. That cord runs up through the wall and is labeled H/R? I would have assumed I would have needed to connect my modem to one of the coax cables and then linked my modem to the internet slot in the router? Don't know how to add pics?

OK... Looking up ESWN400 Eaton, I found this page -- http://es.eaton.com/virtual_house/hotspots/structured_wiring/SA00412013E.PDF and https://secure.libertycable.com/RUB_IMAGES/images/spec/ESWN400-100%20Instruction.pdf
That says that is probably a standard D-Link router under the tin. It is possible that the previous owners didn't have a cable modem and the "H/R" which probably means "home run" had DSL or something else. I would check where the phone comes in to see if there is any evidence of that cable.
