Home network invasion from work computer.

I was just made aware that my work laptop is collecting device information (via a Tanium agent) on my home network when its connected. I would like to create a segregated wireless zone with internet access for my work appliances that follow me home (laptop and phone). Security for the work devises isn't an issue, but the security of my internal network is. They don't need to talk in any way. I have looked at DMZ possibilities, but it seems that they are not recommended. I have own ISP modem and a NightHawk AC1900 router.

Any advice is appreciated.

Appreciate your input kranewolf.

I do have the guest network active. Does it completely separate my home side network though? How would I test this?

Yes. It isolates your private network from your guest. Simplest way is to attempt to ping between two hosts. Start on the private and try to ping your laptop and start from your laptop and try to ping a desktop.

Excellent, Thanks I'll give this a try.
