Home Networking Problem

Okay here's the problem, I have my home router in the living room. Then I have a 30 meter outdoor ethernet cable all the way to the back of the house into my bedroom, I then have a decent ethernet switch. I now want a wifi connection in my bedroom so I brought a cheap wifi router and connected it to my switch, I can access the router no problem its just under a different SSID and password, But I can't connect to my homegroup or anything wirelessly using this router. Any help?

You need to run the router as a AP. You want to connect a LAN port not the WAN and change the ip to not conflict with your main router you also need to disable the dhcp on this second router.
