Home or Pro for my office

So here is the deal: I was recently told that if i buy home version of windows and use it for my office there will still be considered same as using pirated windows
So do i really need the Pro version for my office or its just about the more features it have (such as virtualization, remote access etc)

I think that's BS. BUT you won't be able to log into a domain, so if you have a proper domain setup then you'll have issues, or reduced functionality.

No, that is not correct. It won't be 'pirated windows'. There is no such restriction like that.
As noted, there are some feature differences.

i though so too... well... i guess the guy wanted to sell more expensive windows and thats why he is telling such BS to my boss
