Home theater speakers on apc

My dad has a speaker system that he uses downstairs on our tv but pretty soon hes gonna get get a soundbar but hes gonna keep the receiver, so basically he is giving me the sub-woofer and the speakers is there anyway i can use the speakers on my pc?

If you use them with an external amplifier that has a line in you can.

or you also have the option of getting a cheap receiver. you could hook up aux devices such as consoles, dvd players, etcetera also.
