Me and my dad just went to Microcenter last night and bought a bunch of parts to build a PC. We just built it last night and now I'm trying to see if it works. It starts up and all the fans spin, but it shuts off after a few seconds. It then restarts, and the cycle repeats indefinitely I don't know what could be the problem.

The specs are:
EVGA 600B 600 Watt PSU
Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3 Motherboard
Core i5 4690K CPU w/stock cooler
GTX 650 2GB GPU
WD Desktop Mainstream 1TB HDD

Thanks in advance

honestly the best thing you can do is double check everything. make sure your ram is in all the way and all the connections are tight.

past that, if you have another computer that is working that you can use to test the components one by one to try and narrow down the search.

its probably either the motherboard, psu or ram if everything is plugged in right.

if you arent able to test it yourself and you are sure everything is plugged in right i would take those 3 items i mentioned earlier to microcenter and tell them your situation and they should be able to test your components in a few minutes.

source: i worked as a tech at a computer store and thats what we would do.

I just had the exact same problem with a friend's computer, and after trying multiple different things including replacing the memory one stick at a time, different power supply, and the cpu twice, it turned out to be a bad video card. Replaced that, and works like a charm now.
