Can I play Homefront- (home is where the war is) on my Lenovo G50-80 Intel CORE i3 ?
If not, what are the possibilities of playing a game requiring Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz on this laptop running Intel Core i3 5005U processor and supports 4GB DDR3 RAM with a speed of 1600 Mhz

Looks like you can get it from Steam, get it, see if it runs OK on different settings. If not, you can return it within an hour or two for a refund. Read their refund policy for details.

That game should run OK, your i3 5005u is a fair bit faster than a Core2Duo at a similar speed, and the integrated Intel HD graphics are a fair bit faster than the 7900GS.
