I recently built a new pc. I loaded Win10 home from a OEM disc. After I had windows running and before going through the entire update process, I created a homegroup with my old PC to pass and share files. The state of the new win10 accepted the creation of a homegroup. Over the next several days I went through many win 10 updates to make my PC current. The current Win 10 does net support homegroup$. I now find HomeGroup$ on my sign in page asking for a password. I also have my real sign on and am able to get into my PC. But the fact HomeGroup$ shows up every time a turn on my PC is driving my nuts.
I do not want reload Win 10. Some where in Win 10 there is something that puts Homegroupuser$ on my sign-on screen. What is it? Where is it? How do I safely remove it??
thanks for your consideration.
