Homemade USB splitter: only 1 working at each time

I've made this usb splitter for keyboard and mouse. Both ports work, but only one at each time. Hw can I make both ports work simultaneously?

dont worry, the wires do not touch each other. I'll insulate later

You can't split USB in that fashion. Buy a cheap USB hub.
