Homeplug System not woking "Local Area Connection does not have a valid IP configuration"

I have a desktop PC with no wireless adapter. I built it myself and it's around 3 months old now. I use a homeplug system to access the internet that has been working fine for the most part. Occassionally late at night (Gone 1am) the Internet would cut out, but a troubleshoot by windows that reset the local area network adapter has never failed to fix the problem.

This happened last night at around the same time, and since then the homeplug system has not functioned correctly. It was working absolutely perfectly up to that point and nothing changed. I am writing this from a friends laptop having confirmed that he is having the same problem. When I connect directly to the router via an ethernet I have no issues and all other devices are able to connect to the Wireless network flawlessly. I noticed he had a series of tunnel adapters, but I only have one on my PC, so I presume that is not the problem.

On the homeplugs themselves, the middle lights are not on, I believe the other the two activated lights refer to the Power and the Ethernet cable. The light where the ethernet links to the router is on. I first installed these years ago and have completely forgotten what the lights refer to and which ones need to be on or not. I am using TP Link AV500 homeplugs if that makes any difference, both of which are plugged into the wall directly and always have been.

To me they should all be on, and this is almost certainly the problem, but I have no idea how to fix it

Had already tried to pair these back up to no success. Finally found a technical support number and found out that to repair the connection between the homeplugs you need to hold the router connected plugs pair button for ten seconds until the lights flash once. Then do the same on the computer connected plug. Then you need to press the first plugs button for one second (the power light should start to flash) then do the same on the second one.

The problem was that the homeplugs were entering a power saving mode, which you can disable if you ring support and ask them to send you a guide. Hope this helps someone in the future
