Well I just played an hour homeworld 2 demo
Against 3 other cpu's at highest detail again on my PIII 450 mhz and fx5200.
The game was a bit slower though... but I liked it... so I can plan all my
strategies and actually achieve time...
The next time I will set the details a bit lower so things go a bit
faster... that makes it a bit more hard.. because you have to do things
faster..
All in all I think the game run 1.5 as slow as on the amd 2600... not bad !
Now I still have to find somebody to play with
I am not sure if installing the full version is wise... hd space is low
anyway... for only 100 bucks I could get a new harddisk as well.. but oh
well.. that just more stuff to backup and to much of a hassle to transform
the system hehehehe.
Well... if the lower details turn out to increase the speed a bit I could go
for full as a well and play with 5 other cpu's
Then later I could try lower resolution and see how that impacts the speed
=D
Bye,
Skybuck.
