Please ignore no OS I have that covered already. I will be doing mostly steam gaming with some other work that would greatly benefit from the i7.

My main concern is that this power supply isn't going to be enough. In the future I plan on adding a 240 cpu cooler.

Will this power supply be enough for my build?

PC Parts Picker estimates 463w I do not plan on doing any overclocking until I get my cooler but will there be room for overclocking?

I'm pretty much at my max budget.

Looks good. I would however suggest if you are not overclocking to look at the non k version or even the i5 to save some money and put that into an SSD

I don't need a i7 but my work would benefit from it. Also I will be overclocking but not until I get a CPU cooler.

I'm not interested in a SSD as boot time doesnt bother me and my work doesn't require that read write speed.

My main concern is the PSU.

I don't mean this in a rude way I really don't but did you even read my post? I forgot to mention I didn't need a SSD but for that price if I wanted one it would have been in the parts lost.

I had said I will be overclocking but not until I get me CPU cooler and the first thing you mentioned was "since you will not be overclocking".

Hello... R9 390 275 watts 23 amps on the +12vdc rail... i7 4790K 88 watts 8 amps on the +12vdc rail... total 31 amp @12Vdc 363 watts needed just for the GPU and CPU...
the 520 or 620 seasonic PS will do you good here.

change the psu to evga supernova g2 650 watts and change your gpu gtx 970
