Hooking up desktop to pick up wireless signal

Hello,
I have a Compac Desktop computer and want to be to use the wireless signal at my apartment club house. What do I need?

Get a USB wireless adapter like THIS ONE. I've used a lot of these and they work quite well, are easy to install (with Win 7 no driver needed), and are inexpensive. I've pretty much quit using PCI/PCIe cards on most builds.
