Hooking up gtx770...

I'm having issues hooking up a gtx770. I have a xfx ts 850 80+bronze psu. When I turn the pc on I'm getting no picture and 5 beeps. I figured I'd have enough power to run the card. Upraded from a gtx660.

You have plenty power, I am presuming you have the power connectors correct and if the card is properly in the slot you may have a bad card!

What make/model is your motherboard?

on the nvidia 770 cards it a known issue some of them pulled a lot of power and with some mb will trip the surge suprssor of the mb. a few vendors had to drop newer bios updates for those cards. also some of those vendor cards got caught cheating by over vol ting the cards.

Update. The pc turns on now and Im getting my hp boot pic and a beep every 30 seconds. Then monitor goes black due to no video signal. Its just a stock intel board out of a hp p7 1110 tower. Has a 2nd gen i5. 8gb ram. 500gb hd.

Wierd. My 660 req was 296 watts and 770 only requires 246...

Being a HP oem board it can be BIOS support issue. Check for update.
