Horizontal Line across monitor

I just noticed when I turned on the monitor today that there is a horizontal line about 1/5th the way down from the top of the screen. I switched out graphics cards but its present with this one as well. I checked and updated my video drivers, but I can't seem to make it go away. It doesn't appear to be present in BIOS so I'm assuming its a Windows issue not hardware? But I have no idea how to make it go away. Any thoughts from those more knowledgeable?

I’d try a different cable as well.

Edit: and a different kind of cable (displayport, hdmi) to see if the monitor-side port is bad.

Hmm, ill try that. Gotta see if my monitor has a HDMI in. If it is the cable or monitor port, would it still make the difference in it not showing up in BIOS? I figure hardware video out is equal across the board, or does BIOS put out a different type of video signal.

Ehhhh dunno. Lower resolution in bios, smaller bandwidth requirement, doesnt stress the cable or interface.
