Hi all,

This build was completed about 1 month ago. All parts were brand new and were installed with caution. Everything seems to be seat in the properly slot securely. I have not had any issues until now.

At times, when a video or game has "impact", the issue will occur. My monitor becomes frozen, horizontal lines occur on the monitor, and the monitor begins to flash repeatedly. This does not happen too often, but I have noticed it a lot more.

I recorded a video and uploaded it on YouTube so you can visually see my issue. Please post your knowledge below.

Thank you in advance!

does it just stay like that, or does the system eventually reboot? off the top of my head i would guess its a display driver issue, barring that, a gpu failure.

more than likely the display driver. i would get an application to do a nice clean wipe of the current driver, just google it, then install the most recent one from the manufacturers website. dont use ones that come on disks with the components.

its much less likely to be the gpu itself failing, as i would expect much worse from it than freezing an heavy artifacting. it could be crashing, but usually that happens when you've overclocked to an unstable point and often causes a reboot.

Thank you for your response. The system stays like that until I manually turn the system off myself; it will not reboot itself. I noticed the Radeon had a new driver so I just updated my driver. It also installed Vulkan32 and Vulkaninfo, I searched it and it seems as though it is some program that helps fix graphic corruptions? Thoughts?

I will play on this computer with the new driver and see if it occurs again.
