I recently bought a new Ultrawide (this one, it has almost the same pixel count than a standard 4k Monitor) and I'm having some strange behaviour with it..
When I connect it via HDMI 2.0 at 60Hz I get a small black, horizontal line across the whole display at the top (I can see the pixels "shutting"on and off (or kinda "moving " around) when I get close).
But when I'm connecting it with DP 1.4 @ 120Hz the line is gone. The display also supports dual signal-in, so when I'm driving one side of the panel with DP from my desktop and the other one with HDMI from my notebook the line also doesn't show up.
What can produce such strange behaviour? Could it be a hardware failure? And if it is, why does it not show up when I am using it with DP?
