[SOLVED] Horizontal lines on monitor not quite lined up

I have noticed recently that vertical lines don't line up, as if the horizontal lines are slightly shifted. It's hard to describe, and its hard to get a screen shot that shows it, so I made a simulated image in Photoshop to give a better idea of what I'm talking about. The horizontal shift stays in at same place on the monitor if I scroll up or down.
My specs are an Acer H203H monitor and a G-Force GT-710.

I just noticed something else. If I look real close at the monitor, I can actually see the offset wiggle back and forth.

can you try the monitor on a different computer?

did you mean the line is on the monitor?
try a different cable?

Good news. I think it was just loose connections. I shut it down and unpluged the cable from the monitor and the graphics car, removed and replaced the graphics card and hooked the cable back up and it seems to be working correctly again!
