Question Horizontal White Lines on Monitor

BenQ XL2720Z that I have had for 4 years has started showing horizontal lines across 80% of the screen, which get worse in one corner of the display if the refresh rate is set higher than 60Hz. Is this monitor beyond saveable? I am 99% sure it isn't the cable of my GFX card as I have checked for the lines on a PS4 which is on HDMI instead of DVI and they are still visible if slightly less so on there too. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated as I was hoping to either buy a Switch or upgrade my gfx card but I would need to get a non-flawed monitor over both of these! Cheers

That is definitely a broken port entry, a monitor I tested had the same issue.
It turned out that the DisplayPort port entry was broken, I returned it.

If you still have warranty, you could send it back for repairs.
