So I have been having this issue with my internet for about 2-3 months now where it will just drop out for maby 5-10 seconds then come back online, I have had 3-4 techs come out look at the wiring around the house and even get us a new router and boosted our speed for free. The only place they have not really looked at is my computer (self build) and the only way I have found to keep it from disconnecting is to download big files in the background usually I will uninstall a big game in my steam library and install it again I repeat this process about 8-9 times a day. I was wondering if you Brilliant people could help me fix this issue or atleast figure out what the problem is.

There are 2 other computers that are on it 1 is hardwired and the other is wireless but the owners don't do any thing that requires that much bandwidth other than the occasional netflex binge our speed is 50mbs download and 10 upload I don't think that would be the issue

I think I have messed with the network adapter could you give some instruction how to do that? also what are NIC drivers?

how do I figure out what my NIC card is?
