Horrible Minecraft Shaders

I recently built a PC and its running great. Except when I get into Minecraft. At stock unmoded Minecraft I got a lot less than what I expected... Super unstable frame rate from 15-50fps (give or take) the I tried shaders because I just really wanted to see it. I get 15-25fps... When I look on YouTube at people with my GPU (270x)and a lesser CPU than my i5-4590 I see them getting way smother results. I also have 8gb of ram.. Recently I installed optline and now without shaders I get +200fps but shaders is exactly the same... I've tried everything from settings to lowering my resolution. Every other game I play runs great normally touching 60fps on the highest settings in games like planetside gta4 arma ect.... I don't believe its my drivers... Nor my CPU. Everything else is very zappy and stable

OH and on the (f3) hud that gives you all the the information... On the top right it says something about 1103MB memory... I'm confused because my GPU has 2GB. I have the windforce by the way

If you're using 1.7.10 then download fastcraft. 1.7.10 has horrible optimization problems. The memory usage is actually ram usage not vram usage.

And fwiw I was never able to get above 20fps with shaders (even "lite") (system in signature)

Also are you using a modpack? If so which?
